Jellypod makes it easy to manage the sources that power your podcast episodes—even after you’ve already created your episode outline or script.

Editing Sources

Follow these steps to edit the sources in an existing episode draft.

  1. Open your episode and go to the Outline tab.

  2. View the Sources panel on the left hand side of the outline.

    1. If you're on mobile, click the File icon in the toolbar, which opens up your source window.

  3. Adding a New Source: To add a new source, drag and drop a supported file into the input box on the bottom of the screen. Or you can paste a website link and then click "Add Source".

  4. Removing a Source: To remove an existing source, click the X icon to the right of the source you want to delete. Be careful, deleting a source cannot be undone and you'll have to re-upload your original document!

  5. Downloading Existing Sources: You can click the Download icon to the let of the X to download the original source file that was uploaded.

Pro Tips

  • Changes to these sources are reflected throughout your episode—from outline to script.

    • If you add or remove a source, make sure you regenerate your outline and script to use the latest information!

  • Free users can add up to 5 sources per episode; Pro users can add up to 20.
