Jellypod, like many other AI platforms, uses a credit-based system to create podcast episodes. Most features are available to all plans, including free ones, but the biggest difference is in the amount of credits users receive.

To check your remaining credits in Jellypod, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Jellypod app.

  2. Navigate to your Account Settings found in the bottom-left corner of the app interface.

  3. Under the Credits section, you will see the remaining credits available for use.

However, Jellypod includes hosting, podcast analytics, and a bunch of other features that come included with any premium plan. These services are usually an additional cost for people trying to distribute and grow their podcast, but are included with Jellypod!

Free users receive a one-time allotment of 1000 audio generation credits. This does not refill monthly. Users can get more credits by upgrading to any paid plan.

Paid subscribers receive monthly distributions of credits depending on the current plan. Jellypod offers both monthly and annual plans, with annual plans receiving a ~25% discount compared to monthly and also distribute all your year's credits upfront.

Paid plans are categorized into Starter, Creator, and Business tiers, with each offering varying credit allocations suitable for different user needs.

More Credit Information

Credits are only used when generating audio; you can outline, script, and plan episodes without any limits. One credit is equal to one second of audio generated (so 1 minute of audio = 60 credits).

Credits roll over month to month and never expire as long as you maintain an active subscription.

For additional assistance or clarification on your credit balance, feel free to contact our support team.

How does the math work out?

Here's a quick breakdown of converting credits to audio.

  • Starter plan: 2,500 credits annually, which equals approximately 41 mins, 40 secs of podcasting.

  • Creator plan: Contact support for detailed credit breakdown.

  • Business plan: 24,000 credits annually, which equals approximately 6 hours, 40 minutes of podcasting.

Tips for Managing Credit Usage

Here are a few tips to optimize your credit consumption:

  1. Plan your audio segments: Estimate the approximate length to ensure you use only as many credits as needed.

  2. Avoid unnecessary regenerations: Review the text script before generating audio to make sure everything is correct before using credits on audio generation. If you do have a mistake, you'll be able to address it with a regeneration of a particular speech block.

Being mindful of these practices can help you make the most of your Jellypod subscription credits.
